Gilad Gavlovski

Assistant project manager

Gilad Gavlovski is a talented, knowledgeable civil engineer, well-qualified to help oversee the daily management, coordination, supervision and successful completion of the new concept hotel, EVEN® at Miami International Airport.

Gilad comes to Epelboim with experience serving as the project manager for Mirabella Plaza, a five-building commercial complex located in Miramar, Florida and of Mural Plaza, a two-building commercial complex in Tamarac, Florida. For both projects, he worked on site representing the developer, the general contractor and the structural contractor. The scope of his responsibilities included negotiating with sub-contractors; coordination of architects, engineers and other vendors; scheduling; materials management; value engineering; obtaining county and city permits; daily reports; RFIs and submittals.

Prior to this, he served as an assistant project manager for the construction of three Value Store Its in Doral, Hollywood and Delray Beach. In this position, he represented the structural contractor and was responsible for RFIs, submittals and working in liaison with the general contractor.

Previously, Gilad interned with GC Contractors as an assistant project manager for the remodeling of a furniture store, and interned with H&M Development as an estimator for an eight-story office building.

A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Gilad is fluent in English & Spanish, and conversant in Hebrew. He is competent in the range of software critical to his position, including Microsoft Project, Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Pro-Core and Red-Team. Gilad holds a degree in civil engineering from Florida International University.

Responsibilities at EPELBOIM DEVELOPMENT GROUP
  • Head of on-site activities including the  supervision of all construction activities.
  • Coordinate that architectural, engineering,  permitting, interior design, buyout and  construction decisions are made on time, on  budget and meeting all of the required criteria  pertinent to the location, type and requirements  of the brand, local Codes and governmental  agencies requirements.
  • Liaise with the General Contractor’s  superintendent and Project Manager to stay  up to date with current activities and planned  activities.
